Songwriter - Educator
It was the moment the spark was lit.
I was a kid having my first song performed by a chorus in front of a live audience.
The chorus and audience had a great time. I discovered I had a way of making people feel good.
I am a Berklee College of Music graduate and Massachusetts native.
I packed a suitcase full of songs and dreams and moved to NYC where I wrote musicals in the Broadway theatre community.
I stopped hustling and bustling in the big city to write in the serenity of my hometown suburb where beautiful things are possible wherever you are.
More stats for inquiring minds:
BMI accepted me as a composer in their New York musical theatre workshop.
My shows have received grants, cultural commissions and have been performed in Manhattan and all over New England.
I started The Salem Talent Showcase in NH to provide a supportive arts space for performers to grow and thrive.
I love my piano and vocal students for entrusting me with their musical journey!
My greatest goal and joy is to help my students find their voice, confidence and that spark that I found (and still have) so many years ago!
